On September 22nd, the ICC co-organized the International Seminar ” Building and Cultivating Cooperation for More Effective Food and Nutrition Education in the Americas ,” alongside Colansa, the Autonomous University of the State of Hidalgo (Mexico), and the Healthy Eating Movement of Panama. The event is a follow-up to the
webinar held in May 2026 , which brought together representatives from the same organizations, initiating a debate on the common challenges of food education in the region, such as the expansion of ultra-processed foods, the absence of food and nutrition education in school curricula, and the need to train educators capable of working permanently and across all sectors in this area.
